Shoebox Bookkeeping is a national franchisor of bookkeeping services. We are dedicated to helping small business and tradies Australia-wide get on top of their book work. We want them to focus on doing what they do best - which is running their business! We also offer fixed-price packages to help put clients at ease and not leave them guessing. We have a variety of packages for clients to choose from so clients will only be paying for what they need. The way our business is set up also allows for both our franchisees and our clients to achieve a better work/life balance.

Our business model has been created for people who are wanting a better work/life balance.  They can earn a comfortable living whilst still having time to enjoy their lives. We also offer fixed-price packages for small business and tradies in order to give them peace of mind about the price. Additionally, we have face-to-face meetings with clients every quarter so we can run through their profit and loss, giving them information they need to go forward with their business. All these aspects of our business model emphasis open and clear communication between all parties involved to ensure we are giving the best service possible.

Future Plans

Our goal is to make Shoebox Bookkeeping a household name in Australia. One of our short term goals is to continue to work closely with our franchisees and listen to their feedback through our Shoebox Advisory Council. We also intend to move our databases to an online system to allow for easier communication between head office and the franchisees. A long term goal is to continue to run the Shoebox Small Business Awards and have it grow in influence and credibility. This will, in turn, position the Shoebox brand as one that truly does care about small business. 


I have been part of the Shoebox Team since April 2015.  I had some bookkeeping experience but not the formal qualifications.  I really felt like I needed the support of a team to be able to start my bookkeeping business so I contacted Shoebox Bookkeeping to see what they offered for their franchise owners.  I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of training and support they offered as part of their franchise.  I decided to do my due diligence and contacted a couple of franchisees to ask their opinion and advice.  I also contacted a couple of other bookkeeping franchisors to get information on their training, costs etc and I was left with the definite impression that once training was over I was pretty much on my own.


I was happy to receive great feedback, from the franchisees and decided to go ahead and join the team at Shoebox Bookkeeping.  I have never looked back.  The training and support has been phenomenal and I have grown my business into a very successful territory.  I love working from home and how my lifestyle has changed as a result.  We have quite a great network of fellow shoebox bookkeepers that are always in contact with each other whether through our secret FB page or the like.  I can honestly say, I wouldn't change my decision to become part of Shoebox Bookkeeping for anything!
