It’s Christmas in July, and to celebrate, Worldwide Online Printing has donated $16,711 to children’s charity camp Quality.

Bringing smiles to children affected by cancer and their families is the main goal of Sydney-based charity, Camp Quality. And for several years now, Worldwide Online Printing has been helping achieve this goal by raising money for the charity through its annual Christmas card campaign.

The latest donation of $16,711 was presented to Camp Quality in July at the Olympic Tennis Centre in NSW, where some of the children participate in tennis clinics.

As part of an ongoing commitment to support Camp Quality, Worldwide donates 10 cents for every Christmas card sold from their official Christmas charity range through its 80 plus design and print centres nationwide. For over 25 years, Camp Quality has been using fun therapy to bring happiness and optimism to children living with cancer and their families. Today, they support 25,000 kids every year through family support, education, recreational and hospital programs. Worldwide’s donation will be used to fund a range of recreational activities, including Camp Quality’s popular camps.

“Here at Camp Quality we love that the Christmas cards spread happiness and laughter at a time when people traditionally celebrate family and give thanks for the good things in their life. We’re delighted with their success and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Worldwide,” said Simon Rountree, Camp Quality CEO.

Worldwide has begun its 2009 campaign by announcing the call for entries to design this year’s Christmas charity range. In a bid to raise even more funds this Christmas season, Worldwide has included calendars in its campaign. The successful designs will become the official 2009 charity range and 10 cents for every card and calendar sold will once again go to Camp Quality.

“Organisations like Camp Quality provide an invaluable service to the community. It’s a pleasure to be involved with them and a joy to see the results of their wonderful work,” said Donald MacKenzie, Worldwide CEO. As well as helping Camp quality, Worldwide supports a number of other community initiatives, including the Zig Zag Foundation in Qld, Anglicare’s OpShop Ball in WA and Melbourne-based charity group Spirit of Sharing. The Camp Quality Christmas charity range will appear in Worldwide stores in September.
